Mark, AKA ‘Anders’ or ‘Monster is a Gracetown local and was a Professional Surf Photographer for most of his life.
In 2020 Mark had a stroke and suffered an ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) which left him with a disability that has completely changed his life.
As part of Ander's recovery, one of his goals has been to return to the workforce and so he has started a micro-business, with the support of his partner Jane.
These incredible images from Monster's archives are surfing locations around Western Australia's Southwest and around the World, and include local surfing legends, James Catto and Taj Burrow, and also the Great Andy Irons, surfing ‘The Box’ just to name a few.
